私はただただ嘆いていた、多分優しい心を隠して、戦いを表に出し、誰にも媚びす、女性の権利のために戦ってきた人ヒラリークリントンが事もあろうにトランプのような人間に負けてしまったことを、、、。

誤解されやすい人、オバマ氏曰く、男では当然の野心を持つことで、なぜ？という不当な疑惑を受け続けてきた人。トランプとのディベートで感情的にならず、笑顔と冷静さを保ち、政策をわかりやすい言葉で語ることに終始した彼女の心がトランプの不当でただ暴力的な発言に血を流していたことも。彼女の悲しみはいかばかりだろうか、、と。
しかしそれは彼女への侮辱だった。

彼女は偉大な政治家であり、強く優しい女性であり、尊敬すべき人物である。

Last night, I congratulated Donald Trump and offered to work with him on behalf of our country. I hope that he will be a successful president for all Americans.
昨晩，わたしはドナルド・トランプに祝意を述べ，「これからも祖国のためにともに協力し合いましょう」と伝えました。彼がすべてのアメリカ人を成功に導く大統領となることを，わたしは願ってやみません。
This is not the outcome we wanted or we worked so hard for and I’m sorry that we did not win this election for the values we share and the vision we hold for our country.
これは，わたしたちの望んだ結果でも，わたしたちが目指し，努力してきた結果でもなく，わたしたちの祖国のために，わたしたちが掲げた共通の価値観やビジョンをもってしても，この選挙に勝てなかったことが，わたしは無念です。
But I feel pride and gratitude for this wonderful campaign that we built together, this vast, diverse, creative, unruly, energized campaign.
それでもわたしは，このすばらしい，広範囲で，多様で，創造的で，型破りで，そして活気に溢れた運動をみんなでつくりあげたことへの誇りと感謝の気持ちで一杯です。
You represent the best of America and being your candidate has been one of the greatest honors of my life.
みなさんは，もっともすばらしいアメリカの姿をみせてくれました。みなさんの候補として闘うことができたことを，わたしは生涯の誇りとすることでしょう。
I know how disappointed you feel because I feel it too, and so do tens of millions of Americans who invested their hopes and dreams in this effort. This is painful and it will be for a long time, but I want you to remember this.
みなさんがどれほど残念な思いであるかはよくわかります。わたしもそう感じるからです。そして，夢と希望のすべてをこの運動に注ぎ込んでくれた数百，数千万の人びともそうです。本当につらいです。このつらさは長く続くかもしれません。

Our campaign was never about one person or even one election, it was about the country we love and about building an America that’s hopeful, inclusive and big-hearted.

It also enshrines other things; the rule of law, the principle that we are all equal in rights and dignity, freedom of worship and expression.

We respect and cherish these values too and we must defend them.

Finally, I am so grateful for our country and for all it has given to me. I count my blessings every single day that I am an American. And I still believe as deeply as I ever have that if we stand together and work together with respect for our differences, strength in our convictions and love for this nation, our best days are still ahead of us.
わたしに多くを与えてくれた祖国に感謝したいと思います。わたしは毎日，自分がアメリカ人であることを幸運に感じています。そしていまでも，これまで感じた以上に，わたしたちは互いの違いや，確信の強さや，祖国に対する愛を尊重しながら，ともに立ち，ともに取り組むことでよりよい明日をつくれるのだということを確信しています。

So my friends, let us have faith in each other, let us not grow weary, let us not lose heart, for there are more seasons to come. And there is more work to do.
だから，親愛なるみなさん。お互いを信じ続けましょう。善を行うのに飽くことなく，失望せずに，続けましょう。時期はまだまだ到来し続けます。それに，まだまだやることがあるのです。
I am incredibly honored and grateful to have had this chance to represent all of you in this consequential election.
